SHEPHERD THE FLOCK OF GOD THAT IS AMONG YOU, EXERCISING OVERSIGHT, NOT UNDER COMPULSION, BUT WILLINGLY, AS GOD WOULD HAVE YOU; NOT FOR SHAMEFUL GAIN, BUT EAGERLY, NOT DOMINEERING OVER THOSE IN YOUR CHARGE, BUT BEING EXAMPLES TO THE FLOCK.     1 Peter 5:2-3

The irony of Christian ministry is that pastors ought to shepherd from the strength that God supplies, not in self-reliance, but they become the face that sheep will associate with God's character and care.  Pastor Nate strives to be a shepherd who exemplifies what it is to be one of Christ's sheep.

He learned the amazing beauty of the Bible, the value of the ancient creeds and confessions, the basics of biblical counseling, and the value of the city. It has, however, been his time in ministry that taught him the significance of the things he learned in seminary.  The truth of the gospel caught fire for him during his years of ministry at Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church.

He loves seeing the gospel doing its work in people's lives and loves introducing them to the Good Shepherd, Jesus.  He would love to meet with you for a cup of coffee to hear about your background and what brought you to our website.  Fill out our contact form to set up an appointment.

When he isn't busy with ministry, Pastor Nate enjoys spending time with Anna and their three children-- Elliana (9), Noah (6), and Philip (3).  In the nooks and crannies of his schedule, he also enjoys weightlifting and the outdoors.
